Senior ServiceNow Engineer

Service Now Developer – Contract Hybrid working 12-month contract Up to £700 per day – Inside IR35 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced Service Now Developer to join a high‑performing team delivering large‑scale, global platform solutions. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable Service Now applications, working closely with stakeholders, and delivering high‑quality solutions in an agile environment.

• Develop and enhance solutions on the Service Now platform
• Build and maintain Service Portal applications
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs
• Design, estimate, and deliver platform enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical guidance
• Support integration work across REST/SOAP APIs

• 5+ years of Service Now development experience
• Strong experience with Service Portal development
• Solid skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS, Bootstrap
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, HTTP integrations
• Proven background working in Agile environments
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

• Service Now certifications (e.g. CAD, CIS‑CSM)
• Experience with Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• SAFe or scaled Agile experience

• Self‑motivated, proactive, and collaborative
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
