Word Press Developer Responsibilities
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Wordpress experience/skills or knowledge (managing plugin updates)
- Creating pages and the layout/design for new pages
- SEO knowledge (plugin & training provided)
- Optimising pages via AIOSEO plugin
- Updating site maps
- cleaning up Wordpress checking to see which plugins are not in use and removing them
- always optimising pages to ensure the quickest load time
- ensuring all plugins are regularly to check to make sure they’re still required
- providing adequate information before performing any updates
- the main job is to ensure the front end and back end are working correctly
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS, JavaScript & HTML5
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Good communication skills.
