Overview

A global Reg Tech business is seeking a Database Administrator to support SQL Server databases critical to business operations. This role involves hands-on DBA activities, including performance tuning, automation of processes using T-SQL and Power Shell, and responding to database incidents. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments and strong communication skills to collaborate with development teams. This position offers a chance to work at the forefront of regulatory technology and make a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on DBA activities for SQL Server databases, including monitoring, tuning, and optimization to ensure performance and reliability.
Automate repetitive database tasks using T-SQL and Power Shell.
Respond to database incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

Experience administering SQL Server databases in production environments.
Experience with cloud environments and cloud-based database services.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
