Data Engineer

Robert Half Technology are assisting UK's market leading telecommunications organisation to recruit a Data Engineer on a contract basis - Hybrid working - London / Hampshire based We are supporting a data transformation programme and are looking for a Senior Data / Platform Engineer to take full ownership of the production data platform. This role is critical to delivering a scalable, production-ready platform ahead of a mid-August Net Suite cutover, including responsibility for build, integration, and operational readiness.

Role The Data Engineer will own the end-to-end data platform (ingestion, orchestration, infrastructure, observability) Design and deliver scalable data pipelines across CRM, ERP and billing systems Lead platform readiness for cutover and hypercare phases Build and maintain integrations incl.:
Salesforce / Ability (CRM) Net Suite / Sage X3 (ERP) Billing / BSS systems Implement reverse ETL workflows (Hightouch) Manage supplier data ingestion via SFTP and cloud services Ensure strong monitoring, alerting, and platform reliability Take full ownership of a core engineering workstream Produce clear documentation and BAU handover Profile The Data Engineer will have strong cloud data warehouse experience (Big Query preferred;

Snowflake/Redshift also considered) Proven experience integrating: CRM platforms ERP systems Billing/BSS solutions Experience delivering cutover  hypercare phases (essential) Ability to operate as a senior IC / workstream owner Strong documentation and delivery discipline Tech Stack GCP (Big Query, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud Functions) Fivetran, Python Terraform Git Hub Actions Cloud Monitoring, Pager Duty Hightouch (Reverse ETL) Company UK's market leading telecommunications organisation with offices in London / Hampshire Hybrid working Salary & Benefits The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training .
