Location:
Hybrid – London (occasional office visits required) Client: UK-based end client THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to join a UK client engagement on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in designing and building modern data platform solutions using the full Microsoft Fabric stack. The role operates outside IR35 and offers a competitive day rate of £400, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model from a London base.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Architect and deliver end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, and serving layers Design scalable, robust data platform architectures aligned to client requirements and best practices Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and governance standards Document architecture decisions and support knowledge transfer to client teams WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Proven hands-on experience designing and developing solutions with Microsoft Fabric Strong understanding of modern data platform architecture and cloud-based data engineering
Experience with One Lake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and related Fabric workloads Ability to engage directly with UK-based client stakeholders at all levels Self-sufficient and able to hit the ground running in a contract environment Comfortable with hybrid working, including occasional travel to a London office ENGAGEMENT DETAILS Outside IR35 – suitable for limited company contractors Day rate: £400 Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend) Hybrid working with occasional visits to a London office UK-based candidates only – must be eligible to work in the UK
