Data Onboarding Specialist, STR – London
CoStar Group is a global provider of commercial and residential real estate data, analytics, and marketplaces. This role focuses on onboarding hotel companies and hospitality technology partners into our secure, repeatable data delivery workflows.
OverviewThe Data Onboarding Specialist is a client‑facing role that coordinates integration discovery, requirements definition, testing, and support to accelerate onboarding speed, improve feed reliability, and enhance overall client experience.
Responsibilities- Lead discovery calls covering client systems, data availability, delivery constraints, and data security considerations.
- Identify and coordinate optimal data delivery processes, including integrations, testing, and go‑live activities.
- Act as liaison between global clients, vendors, and engineering teams to align on scope, expectations, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with legal to establish appropriate contractual frameworks and mitigate risks.
- Oversee data quality and feed stability by validating incoming data and working with Data Operations to resolve issues.
- Maintain exceptional client communication and professional service across all interactions.
- Document process improvements, track relevant KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in hospitality, data, business management, or finance.
- Demonstrable client‑facing, onboarding, or implementation experience.
- Working knowledge of common data delivery methods (email attachments, SFTP, APIs).
- Strong ability to gather requirements and coordinate technical delivery with clients.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
- Experience in hospitality technology or hotel performance data is ideal but not required.
- Familiarity with PMS, CRS, RMS, or hotel accounting systems is ideal but not essential.
- Exposure to SQL or basic data validation tools is preferable.
