, a technology-driven global proprietary trading firm, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their team in London. You will design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure that underpins a fast-paced financial trading environment.

• Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure that underpins a fast-paced financial trading environment.
• Manage and optimise production infrastructure.
• Collaborate with systems administrators and security analysts.
• Ensure high availability across colocations, cross-connects, and the broader network estate.
• Balance day-to-day support responsibilities with longer-term infrastructure projects.

• At least 5 years of network engineering experience within financial services, ideally in a hedge fund or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software from vendors including Cisco, Arista, and F5.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Nagios or Victoria Metrics.
• Solid understanding of network security best practices.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP.
