Data Delivery Lead Contract Duration: 3 months

Farringdon, London (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite) Job Type: Contract We are seeking an experienced Data Delivery Lead to provide interim cover for a significant data portfolio at a major UK FTSE 100 Company. This role involves taking on the responsibilities typically held by the Head of Product & Delivery during a transitional period until a permanent hire is made.

Day-to-day of the role:
Portfolio Leadership:
Take ownership of the data portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's technology and business strategy. Delivery Oversight:
Manage the timely delivery of all programs and initiatives within the portfolio, ensuring they meet budget and quality standards. Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to maintain financial control over the portfolio. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior leaders across Data and Technology to ensure strategic alignment and successful outcomes. Interim Leadership:
Act as a senior point of escalation for any delivery issues and risks, providing leadership and stability. Governance & Reporting:
Implement robust governance and reporting mechanisms to track and report on portfolio performance. Team Coordination:
Facilitate effective collaboration across product, engineering, and delivery teams to maximise performance. Handover & Continuity:
Assist with the onboarding of the permanent hire to ensure a smooth transition and continuity. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a senior data delivery or portfolio leadership role within large, complex organisations. Strong background in managing data and analytics programs, ideally within enterprise-scale environments. Demonstrated ability to manage large portfolios, including aspects of budget control, prioritisation, and delivery tracking. Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at the senior leadership level. Experience in agile and hybrid delivery environments, working alongside product and engineering teams.

Comprehensive understanding of delivery frameworks, governance, and risk management. Ability to quickly assess challenges and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced setting. Personal Attributes:
