About the Team

Global E-Commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for buyers, sellers, and creators. The EMEA Moderation team is part of the GNE organization, tasked with creating the most trustworthy e‑commerce platform with a delightful service experience. This internship offers professional real‑world experience through short‑term projects, on‑the‑job learning, and exposure to a fast‑paced work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design or rollout of governance processes, policies, or operational improvements.
  • Conduct research or benchmarking to inform team decisions.
  • Analyze platform data or feedback to identify trends, risks, or opportunities.
  • Help document workflows, write summaries, or prepare project materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across product, operations, risk, and policy teams.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's degree, available to start internship immediately for at least 3 months.
  • Strong interest in digital platforms, user experience, or trust & safety.
  • Analytical mindset – able to work with data and draw insights.
  • Clear communicator – ability to summarise findings and collaborate effectively.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with e‑commerce compliance requirements and internet governance management, with a certain level of business sensitivity and risk awareness.
  • Relevant experience in e‑commerce, content moderation, natural language processing (NLP), or LLM prompt design.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) with the ability to drive decisions through data insights.
