Network Engineer

Up to £60,000 per annum + benefits.

Global leader in Content delivery networks with a network of over 2,800 PoPs and more than 20 years of technology expertise. The goal is to provide the best user experience while maintaining a secure and innovative internet infrastructure.

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our London team and support the EMEA region. You will manage and support hundreds of PoP networks with numerous ISPs worldwide, handling POP build‑outs, redesigns, BGP optimisation, ISP coordination, and daily operations.

This position reports directly to the Senior Network Engineer in China and is the sole Network Engineer based in the EMEA region.

• Cooperatively manage and support PoPs across the globe.
• Perform POP build‑outs and redesigns.
• Optimize BGP routing and coordinate with ISPs.
• Handle day‑to‑day operations and troubleshooting.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience administering large‑scale, highly distributed 24x7 production networks (ideally for revenue‑generating services).
• Deep knowledge of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, etc.).
• Proficient in layer 3 routing and layer 2 switching.
• Extensive BGP application experience and familiarity with overseas vendor environments.
• Experience with major router/switch products and troubleshooting.
• Experience using Ethernet troubleshooting tools and methods.
• Detail‑oriented, strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Bi‑lingual in English and Mandarin.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently.
• CCNA or CCNP certification or equivalent networking qualification.
