Data Engineer (RAG and Knowledge Backbone)

Enable data grounding for agents, ensuring high-quality, secure, and context-rich retrieval.

• Data Ingestion
• Chunking and Embeddings
• Knowledge Systems
• Access Control
• Data Quality

Data Ingestion

• Build pipelines for PDFs, SharePoint, databases, and other enterprise sources
• Extract structured and unstructured data

Chunking and Embeddings

• Implement semantic chunking and metadata tagging
• Optimize embedding strategies

Knowledge Systems

• Support knowledge graph use cases where applicable

Access Control

• Ensure secure and compliant retrieval

Data Quality

• Monitor data drift and schema changes

• SQL and Python
• Experience with Airflow, AWS Glue, or Spark
• Experience handling structured and unstructured data
• AWS S3 and Athena (or equivalent data lake technologies)

• Document parsing tools (Textract, Unstructured.io, or similar)
• Kafka
• Knowledge graphs (Neo4j or Neptune)
