Full-Time Apprenticeship Department: IT Support / Consultancy Start Your Career in IT Consultancy Are you passionate about technology and interested in helping organisations get the most from their IT systems? This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional IT services team as an IT Consultant Apprentice , where youll gain hands-on experience supporting clients and delivering technical solutions. Youll develop practical skills across a wide range of platforms while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
About the Role As an IT Consultant Apprentice, youll support the delivery of IT services to clients, helping resolve technical issues and ensuring systems run efficiently. Youll work closely with experienced consultants and account managers, gaining exposure to different technologies, client environments, and small project work. This is a varied role that combines technical support, customer interaction, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities IT Support & Service Desk Monitor and manage incoming support requests via a ticketing system Assist with diagnosing and resolving IT issues Provide solutions or basic workarounds to common technical problems Escalate more complex issues to senior team members Client Support & Communication Deliver a high standard of customer service to clients Keep clients updated on progress and resolutions Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users Systems & Project Support Assist with small project work where required Support setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems Work across platforms including Microsoft, Google, and Apple environments Administration & Documentation Keep support tickets and records up to date Maintain accurate documentation and system notes Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice Team Collaboration Work closely with consultants, account managers, and support teams Share ideas and help identify improvements to processes Support overall service delivery across the business About You Were looking for someone who is:
Passionate about IT and new technologies Eager to learn and develop technical skills Organised with good time management and attention to detail A clear communicator, both written and verbal Calm under pressure and able to solve problems logically Motivated to build a long-term career in IT Desirable (Not Essential) Basic understanding of IT systems or support environments Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools Any previous IT study or experience What Youll Gain A recognised Level 3 IT apprenticeship qualification Hands-on experience supporting real clients Exposure to a range of technologies and IT environments Development of technical, communication, and problem-solving skills A strong foundation for future roles such as: IT Support Technician IT Consultant Systems Administrator Infrastructure Engineer Why Apply?
