About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to help organizations leverage data as a strategic asset within large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives. This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders, architects, and subject matter experts to define data strategies, drive architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality outcomes across complex programmes.
You will play a key role in shaping data solutions, influencing stakeholders, and helping clients understand the value of effective data management, governance, migration, and architecture.
What You'll Do- Promote awareness and understanding of data-related opportunities, challenges, and best practices across internal teams and client organizations.
- Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to define data strategies and align them with broader business and architectural objectives.
- Lead and support key design decisions relating to data architecture, data migration, data governance, and data management solutions.
- Provide guidance and oversight across a portfolio of projects and client engagements.
- Develop strategies and approaches to address complex business and technical challenges.
- Lead project delivery by supporting and developing project teams, managing risks, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to business development activities, including identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and supporting client discussions.
- Ensure projects are delivered successfully and meet agreed objectives, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong expertise in data architecture, data management, data governance, data quality, and data migration.
- Experience engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders, including technology, data, and business leaders.
- Proven ability to define and communicate data strategies and architectural recommendations.
- Knowledge of enterprise data platforms, tools, and technologies, including both modern and legacy environments.
- Understanding of industry best practices, emerging trends, and evolving data technology landscapes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting business development, solution shaping, or pre-sales activities is advantageous.
- Experience working within consulting, professional services, or large-scale transformation programmes is beneficial but not required.
