Job Description:

Job Title Service Now Platform Architect Location London Corporate Title Director You will shape and support the Service Now platform as a Service Now Platform Architect, helping to connect teams, simplify workflows, and deliver meaningful technology outcomes across a global banking environment. Working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams, you will guide platform design, support innovation, and enable scalable, secure solutions.

This is a highly visible role where your expertise will help strengthen collaboration, improve platform consistency, and support transformation across enterprise workflow capabilities. You will contribute to a collaborative and inclusive environment where ideas are shared, and solutions are built together to meet both business and regulatory needs.

Your key responsibilities

Shape and support the Service Now platform architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and shared goals

Oversee platform design standards, helping teams collaborate and maintain consistent, inclusive and effective solutions

Support solution design reviews, guiding data models and integration approaches to ensure strong, dependable outcomes

Coordinate integration design across systems, ensuring secure, scalable and connected workflows that support business needs

Strengthen platform resilience by supporting performance, security and operational continuity requirements

Work closely with stakeholders to support innovation, automation and continuous improvement across the platform

Your skills and experience

Proven experience working as a Service Now Platform Architect within large, complex environments

Strong expertise across Service Now modules including Information Technology Service Management, Configuration Management Database, and integrations

Solid understanding of integration approaches such as Representational State Transfer application programming interfaces and event-based architectures

Experience supporting cloud architecture, security and resilience frameworks within enterprise environments

Strong ability to connect business needs with technology solutions in a structured, collaborative way Experience working in regulated environments such as banking or financial services
