The Role FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Business Analyst to support engagements within the Asset Management sector. This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract role with strong potential for extension and will be a hybrid position based in London. This role sits within a data-focused delivery environment, working on strategic initiatives across client-facing functions.

You will partner closely with business, data, and technology teams to deliver high-quality data solutions, improve reporting capabilities, and support transformation programmes within asset management. Responsibilities:
Drive business and data analysis across complex change initiatives, working closely with product owners and stakeholders Gather, document, and translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows Collaborate with stakeholders to define and validate data requirements, ensuring accurate and meaningful reporting outputs Contribute to solution design across data programmes, considering people, process, technology, risk, and controls Work within agile delivery teams, engaging with developers, testers, architects, and business users About You Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst within Asset Management (essential) Strong understanding of asset management processes and operating models Experience in data modelling, process design, and delivering data-driven solutions Strong technical exposure including SQL, cloud data platforms, and relational/non-relational databases

Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar Experience working in agile environments with a track record of delivery within scrum teams Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business/data analysis About Us FDM is an award-winning global leader in tech and business talent solutions, backed by more than 35 years of industry experience.
