YOUR ROLE

As a Managing Consultant with expertise in Programme and Portfolio Management, you will deliver complex client business transformation initiatives across a variety of sectors and drive the enhancement of our service offerings, with a focus on automation and tooling.

  • Lead the delivery of medium‑sized and complex client business transformation initiatives.
  • Manage large client contracts, including budgets, resource profiles and billing.
  • Contribute to delivery strategies and new offerings, enhancing our programme leadership and P3O services through automation, advanced tooling and tailored methodologies.
  • Play a role in the Programme and Change Practice, enacting and delivering on the 2026 strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of internal training pathways to upskill consultants in automation, tooling and P3M methodologies.
  • Lead teams on client delivery and mentor/coach junior team members to enable capability development and growth.
  • Participate in business development activities such as proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and hosting at events.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives such as campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development and offering development.
  • Engage in learning and development, including training and certifications to support career progression.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑supplier transformation initiatives across various industries.
  • Expertise in programme governance, stakeholder management and risk management.
  • Commercial acumen to structure deals that benefit clients and Capgemini.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to enhance our programme leadership and P3O services through automation and advanced tooling.
  • Experience with multiple delivery approaches and methodologies, particularly hybrid models combining traditional PMO with Agile frameworks.
Desirable skills and/or experience
  • Hold relevant P3M qualifications such as MSP, MoP, P3O (Axelos), PMQ, PPQ, ChPP (APM), PMP, PgMP (PMI), PROSCI, or APMG.
  • Proven success in a matrixed organisation and enlist support and commitment from peers.
  • Experience in proposition building and leading the transition from sales into delivery.
  • Already hold or be willing and eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) status within 6 months.
