Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable AWS Lab Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a passion for sharing their expertise through hands-on training and lab sessions. As an AWS Lab Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering practical training and mentorship to individuals seeking to enhance their skills and proficiency in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver hands-on lab exercises and projects focused on various AWS services, architectures, and solutions, tailored to different skill levels and learning objectives.

Facilitate lab sessions both in-person and virtually, guiding participants through practical activities and providing real-time assistance and support as needed.

Create and maintain lab environments, ensuring that all necessary AWS resources, tools, and configurations are set up and accessible for participants during training sessions.

Collaborate with the curriculum development team to integrate lab exercises seamlessly into training programs, aligning with learning outcomes and objectives.

Assist participants in troubleshooting technical issues, debugging AWS configurations, and overcoming challenges encountered during lab activities.

Stay updated with the latest AWS updates, announcements, and best practices, incorporating new features and functionalities into lab exercises and training materials.

Evaluate participants' performance and progress through lab assessments, projects, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.

Assist in marketing and promoting lab-based training offerings, including creating promotional materials and participating in outreach activities to attract new participants.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2-3 years of professional experience working with AWS, with hands-on experience deploying and managing AWS services and solutions.

Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, with expertise in areas such as compute, storage, networking, security, and databases within AWS.

AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator preferred.

Experience designing and delivering hands-on training sessions or lab-based workshops, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Passion for teaching and mentorship, with a genuine desire to help others succeed in their AWS journey.
