Security Operations Analyst & Privacy

We’re supporting a leading organisation looking to hire a Senior Security & Privacy Operations Analyst to join their growing cybersecurity and privacy function in London.

This is a hands-on role sitting across both Security Operations and Privacy Operations. The client is specifically looking for someone with strong experience across:
Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Security Operations / Incident Response, Operational Privacy & Data Protection processes

• Lead and coordinate security incident triage, investigation, and response activities
• Enhance Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Purview environments
• Drive threat hunting and operational security improvement initiatives
• Support vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and control assurance activities
• Assist with privacy operations, including SARs, DSRs, DPIAs, and data governance processes
• Develop and improve operational playbooks, workflows, and automation processes

• Microsoft Purview
• Logic Apps / Security Automation
• Security Operations / Incident Response
• GDPR / Privacy Operations

• Strong experience within Security Operations, Cyber Defence, or Security Engineering environments alongside Privacy Operations
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) and Microsoft Purview
• Previous experience working with Microsoft security technologies in enterprise environments
• Hands-on incident response and threat investigation capability
• Exposure to GDPR/privacy operations and data protection processes
