Responsible for the installation, configuration and ongoing BAU support, monitoring, capacity management and administration of the network and Wintel Infrastructure.
Networking StackLAN/WAN network which includes Cisco switches and routers, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, Checkpoint firewalls, Meraki MX firewalls, Cisco Firepower Threat Defence, Skyhigh Proxy, Trellix, Citrix Net Scaler load balancers and MS Teams Voice.
MS SQL Products, Server virtualisation (VMWare), Hyper Converged (Nutanix), Cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Entra , Device management (Intune, MS Config Manager, Auto Pilot), Microsoft Group Policy, Citrix - DaaS technology (Microsoft and Citrix), Bitlocker, Defender for endpoint, Privilege Access Management, Certificate management.
Main Responsibilities- Accepting, prioritising and resolving incidents within agreed SLA
- Maintaining and Supporting MS SQL Databases and Infrastructure
- Manage resolution of security vulnerabilities
- Regular patching and updating of systems within responsibilities
- Incident and Problem management
- Assist in resolving Incidents and problems escalated from Service Desk in a timely manner
- Provide mentoring to Service Desk engineers
- Provide support and administration of the IT Infrastructure
- Assist with testing of IT Business Continuity plans as and when required
Participate in the delivery of the infrastructure roadmap - Apply changes in accordance with change management process
- Producing, updating and maintaining technology service documentation
- Cisco CCNA routing and switching (CCNP desirable), Checkpoint CCSA or CCSE, Netscaler CCA-AppDS
- ITIL framework or equivalent
- Service orientated approach with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to demonstrate a desire to broaden technical skills.
- Able to explain complex matters succinctly.
- Can adapt to new concepts and understand vendor systems and architecture.
- Able to present ideas in business and user-friendly language.
