AI Business Lead (Consultant) – Contract
Rate: 620
Duration: 6 months
We’re seeking an experienced AI consultant (independent or via a firm) to act as an AI Business Lead, working upstream of AI delivery. This role focuses on identifying high-value use cases, defining ROI, assessing data readiness, and optimising workflows before AI solutions are built and deployed.
What you’ll do- Lead discovery workshops to identify and prioritise AI use cases
- Develop robust ROI frameworks and business cases
- Map and assess current workflows, data, and processes
- Recommend and design optimised target-state workflows
- Partner with engineering on solution definition and delivery
- Oversee testing, evaluation, and user acceptance
- Strong consulting background in AI use case development, ROI modelling, and process re‑engineering
- Practical understanding of AI/GenAI and where it delivers value
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Experience in sectors such as hospitality, retail, membership, or media (preferred)
