We are seeking a motivated Programmatic Sales Manager to manage relationships with agency trading desks, holding company investment teams and client in-house teams across EMEA. You will work closely with sales, ad operations and data teams to ensure campaigns are positioned for long-term growth and success. This role reports to the Global Head of Programmatic Sales, based in London.

This role focuses on the continued growth of the EMEA Programmatic Market, driving revenue across Bloomberg Media’s premium programmatic offering. You will support the strategy set by the Global Programmatic team while proactively building pipeline and developing new revenue opportunities across the region.

This role carries direct revenue targets and is responsible for driving programmatic revenue growth with agency and advertiser partners across EMEA, activating demand for Bloomberg Media’s global inventory through programmatic channels.

We'll trust you to:
  • Revenue & Growth:
    Meet programmatic targets by managing a robust pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Agency Relations:
    Build and maintain deep relationships with trading teams at major agency holding companies and independents across EMEA.
  • Strategic Positioning:
    Promote Bloomberg as a premium supply partner, influencing agency buying strategies to prioritize Bloomberg’s high-value inventory.
  • Internal

    Collaboration:

    Act as the programmatic lead, partnering with direct sales teams to scale revenue and drive adoption across key accounts.
  • Deal Optimization:
    Focus on scaling Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), PMPs, and Preferred Deals across display, video, CTV, and contextual environments.
  • Demand Generation:
    Identify existing bidders and transition them into higher-value strategies while unlocking new demand through data and audience capabilities.
  • Lifecycle Management:
    Own the full sales process, from initial presentation and proposal to deal closure, campaign launch, and renewal.
  • Performance & Expertise:
    Work with AdOps and Yield teams to optimize performance, using data insights to drive upsells and acting as an internal subject-matter expert.
You’ll need to have
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs and agency trading desks
  • Experience working with programmatic teams at major agency holding companies (e.g. WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu, IPG)
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth in digital or programmatic advertising environments
  • Experience selling video, audience and data-led programmatic solutions
  • Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with direct sales, ad operations, yield and data teams to drive programmatic growth
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
