This role is responsible for delivering CtM’s multifaceted PR programmes, with a focus on consumer and corporate work streams. The role will work across the organisation to align programmes of expert, external facing work with commercial and strategic business priorities. Responsible for ensuring CtM is considered as a force for good for households and as a leading tech business across consumer, corporate and industry audiences.

Of The Great Things You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop and deliver an impactful programme of PR activities, ensuring CtM is front of mind across the tech industry and recognised for its AI, data and tech credentials.
  • Understand our markets and competitors, staying ahead of trends and thinking creatively to land new PR opportunities.
  • Work across the business to translate commercial and strategic objectives into programmes of PR work.
  • Lead a dynamic thought leadership programme for senior talent across the business, continually sourcing and securing high-quality opportunities and briefing speakers/contributors to deliver impactful coverage and content.
  • Lead targeted programmes of public affairs work, focused on engaging key policy makers and opinion formers across the industry.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with journalists and broadcasters, positioning CtM and price comparison as a force for good and extending CtM’s tech and AI narrative into external audiences. Understand these relationships are key and place a priority on being a ‘go-to’ for our areas of expertise.
  • Write and oversee creation of press releases, media pitches, statements, and briefing documents, including identify and develop newsworthy angles from internal data, trends, and product developments to drive best in class press office.
  • Drive high-quality, top-tier media coverage across tech, national, and consumer outlets.
  • Run multi-agency briefings and management of campaign activity across cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure all communications are on-brand, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Protect and enhance CtM’s reputation, particularly around technology, data and AI.
What We’d Like To See From You
  • Experience of working in fintech or financial services business
  • Strong understanding of consumer technology, fintech, and digital platforms
  • Experience of working in regulatory frameworks, including knowledge of FCA requirements & other in-scope regulators
  • Ability to manage issues, crises, and sensitive topics
  • Proven ability to craft compelling stories Highly skilled influencer, able to balance competing priorities
  • Strong communication & partnership style and adaptability
  • Focus on quality coverage and messaging cut-through, not just volume
  • Open-minded and collaborative
  • Good organisational skills and time management skills
