Market Data Lead required to work within the VML Data & Analytics team. You'll lead the strategic vision and delivery of data, measurement, and analytics for a geographical region in a Global WPP client engagement, connecting data, business, and marketing to drive decision‑making and maximise the impact of digital and marketing initiatives.

As a Market Data Lead we are looking for a senior, strategic and consultative profile with experience leading analytics and measurement initiatives across complex, multi‑market and multidisciplinary ecosystems. This is a hybrid role, where we expect strong client management and commercial skills alongside data & analytics expertise.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Be the trusted partner and primary client point of contact for the regional client on all things data and analytics, navigating their business, understanding their challenges and connecting across WPP to ensure we deliver success with world‑class services and solutions.
  • Lead the market measurement and analytics strategy and services, ensuring alignment with business and marketing objectives as well as the global strategy and solutions.
  • Consult with clients, providing proposals and commercial scopes to deliver against their needs and briefs.
  • Coordinate and connect the different capabilities involved within the data and measurement ecosystem to deliver:
    Digital Analytics, Marketing Effectiveness, CRO, Media Analytics, Analytics Engineering & Reporting and Insights.
  • Ensure robust measurement frameworks, KPIs and analytical methodologies are applied, aligned with business goals.
  • Help transform complex data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Drive a data‑driven culture across teams and work streams.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure consistency across frameworks, reporting and measurement models.
  • Lead strategic conversations related to: campaign measurement, cross‑channel measurement, incrementality, attribution, customer insights & optimisation opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to evolve analytical capabilities, processes and ways of working.
  • Promote the use of new methodologies and AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, insight generation and decision making.
  • Facilitate the integration of multiple data sources and analytical perspectives across the marketing and business ecosystem.
  • Act as a strategic and consultative reference point for stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
What you’ll need:
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, measurement, digital strategy or marketing analytics.
  • Experience leading complex data, analytics and measurement initiatives.
  • Significant experience at scoping, resourcing, and developing commercial proposals.
  • Knowledge of the data and analytics ecosystem across marketing and digital including media, commerce, social and digital platforms, CRM & loyalty.
  • Experience working with tools and platforms such as:
    Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Big Query & Tableau / Power BI / Looker.
  • Familiarity with initiatives related to marketing effectiveness, attribution, customer insights and cross‑channel analytics.
  • Ability to connect multiple data sources and translate them into strategic business decisions.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and multi‑market environments.
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations and facilitate alignment across teams.
  • Interest in AI applied to analytics and insight generation.
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken.
