  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine scientific questions, communicate analytical approaches and findings, and support decision-making across research programmes
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable and reproducible bioinformatics analysis pipelines
  • Apply and develop analytical approaches for the integration, analysis, and interpretation of complex multi-modal biological and clinical datasets
  • Contribute to computational strategy and best practices in data management, reproducibility, documentation, and FAIR data principles
  • Support bioinformatics activities across a diverse portfolio of fibrosis- and oncology-focused programmes
Your profile

In addition to strong communication, organisational, and time management skills, you will have:

  • A postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline with 3+years experience working in industry or a demonstrated record of top-tier publications

    • Single-cell and/or spatial transcriptomics
    • Molecular imaging and spatial proteomics
    • Multi-omics integration and analysis
  • Strong foundation in statistics and/or machine learning, with experience applying methods such as regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and survival analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional research environment
  • Experience supporting translational research programmes in fibrosis or oncology, desirable in IBD
  • Experience collaborating with external partners or working in multidisciplinary project teams

Desirable experience:

  • Experience applying modern AI/ML methods to complex biological or biomedical datasets
  • Familiarity with quantitative proteomics and mass spectrometry-based technologies (e.g. LFQ and TMT)
  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS) and workflow management systems (e.g.Nextflow)
Why us?
