Senior Data Engineer - Fin Tech

A fast-growing fintech business transforming how companies move money internationally through a modern payments platform are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team.

What Will I Be Doing:

• Design, build, and optimise scalable ETL/ELT pipelines within a modern Databricks environment.
• Develop and maintain workflow orchestration, monitoring, alerting, and data quality controls.
• Integrate external platforms and APIs into the wider data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and BI teams to deliver commercially impactful data products.
• Contribute to AI initiatives, platform architecture, and the ongoing evolution of the company's data strategy.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong commercial experience in Data Engineering, with hands-on expertise in Databricks and Azure.
• Advanced skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with experience building scalable data platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Git Hub, Terraform, and deployment automation platforms.
• Experience implementing data governance, monitoring, and quality frameworks.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Fin Tech or Payments experience is a plus.
