Solutions Consultant - Post-Sales

The Role

As a member of the solutions consulting team at Vertice, you will play a key role in onboarding new customers and leading the implementation of our procurement orchestration solution.

You will guide clients on how to use our Intake to Procure product and broader platform capabilities to achieve their goals. This customer-facing role entails technical configuration, customization, implementation, and support integration development. You will collaborate closely with customers, customer success teams, and product managers to ensure smooth and effective deployments.

As Vertice scales, you will work with a diverse range of clients across industries and regions, driving customer satisfaction and helping clients maximize value while influencing product development and team growth.

• Lead onboarding for new customers, focusing on understanding their procurement processes and creatively configuring the product to solve challenges.
• Take responsibility for end‑to‑end implementation of our workflows solution, including technical setup and project management to ensure smooth adoption.
• Provide expert guidance on integrating Vertice’s workflows and integration products into clients' existing systems and processes.
• Conduct training and Q&A sessions with customers to empower them to use the product independently.
• Work proactively across multiple customer projects, tracking progress and ensuring timelines are met with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success and product teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, keeping customers delighted.
• Act as the primary technical contact for configuration and customization requests, ensuring specific needs are met.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams, influencing the product roadmap based on customer experiences.

• At least 4 years of work experience, including 2–3 years in solution consulting, project management or functional advisory roles.
• Experience with end‑to‑end project management and managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Proven experience consulting on platform integration, offering tailored recommendations for optimising workflows.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• A proactive problem solver focused on smooth implementations and customer happiness.

• Experience with procurement and finance tools such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Net Suite, Workday or Sage.
• Strong technical skills and comfort with software configuration, integrations, and reading JSON and API documentation.
• In‑depth understanding of B2B procure‑to‑pay processes and experience working in the procurement space.
