You will be joining anevolvingmedia operations team focused on transforming how content is delivered acrossour nine markets. As part of a wider technology transformation, the team is moving from market-specific systems to a set of centralised, cloud-based platforms that support both traditional broadcast and digital streaming.
You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across multiple countries, helping to ensure shared applications are reliable, scalable, and delivera consistent experience. This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment ascentralisedplatforms are being rolled out and embedded into business operations.
The Difference you will makeYour role will play a critical part in the success of a major broadcast technology transformation. As systems become more centralised, you will help ensure they are reliable, well-supported, and trusted by teams across international markets.
You will act as a key technical owner for a set of shared platforms, supporting their day-to-day operation while also driving continuous improvement. Your work will directlyimpacthow effectively live broadcast and digital audio content is delivered, helping tomaintainseamless output in fast-paced, time-critical environments. This role blends hands-on technical support with proactive thinking,where you will not only resolve issues but alsoidentifyroot causes, improve systems, and contribute to their ongoing evolution.
Your roleYou will provide technical support and ownership ofcentralisedbroadcast and media applications, ensuring theyoperatereliably and evolve to meet business needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of shared audio applications
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues as a second-line escalation point
- Investigating recurring issues and identifying root causes
- Working with external suppliers to resolve deeper technical problems
- Collaborating with product managers on improvements, upgrades, and integrations
- Supporting the transition of systems from project delivery into live operation
- Maintaining clear documentation for systems and processes
- Managing a backlog of fixes, enhancements, and improvements
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple countries
- Developing knowledge of new platforms as they are introduced
We’relooking for someone who has:
- Experience providing technical support across multiple applications or platforms
- A background in broadcast, media, or digital broadcasting environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working with distributed or international teams
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to prioritise effectively in time-sensitive environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capability
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- A background that includes broadcast engineering
- Experience supporting media asset platforms
