You'll be the first dedicated Dev Ops Engineer, owning the reliability of a 24/7 investigation engine that runs on live payment flows. This isn't a maintenance role;

it's about building the foundations for AI‑native infrastructure, defining incident response culture, and evolving a complex Terraform estate on GCP. You'll solve a harder version of the observability problem: monitoring non‑deterministic AI agents where “correct” isn't always identical.

• Design and implement observability for a 24/7 real‑time system, specifically tackling the challenge of non‑deterministic AI agents.
• Own the Terraform estate on GCP, evolving infrastructure as the platform scales to new financial institutions.
• Define and embed the incident response culture, building processes that ensure rapid resolution and continuous improvement.
• Build and refine CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high deploy velocity without compromising safety for a fast‑moving engineering team.
• Establish security best practices across the infrastructure, from network security to secrets management, making secure‑by‑default the standard.

• 5+ years in Dev Ops or SRE, with significant experience as a first or sole infrastructure hire in an early‑stage environment.
• Deep expertise with Terraform, managing complex production infrastructure on a major cloud provider (GCP preferred).
• A proven track record designing and implementing observability for distributed systems, ideally including non‑deterministic or ML‑powered components.
• Hands‑on experience with incident response, including on‑call duties, leading incidents, and building robust processes.
• Strong foundations in infrastructure security: network, access control, secrets management, and secure‑by‑default principles.
