The Chief Data Office (CDO) is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Enterprise Data & Analytics team in our London office.

This role focuses primarily on supporting Fitch Solutions and is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in analytics within a high‑impact, business‑facing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to prepare and structure data for reporting and analysis.
  • Build and enhance intuitive self‑service dashboards and reports with relevant KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Partner with Fitch Solutions teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets from multiple disparate sources to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Present findings through clear visualisations and compelling data storytelling that support business decision‑making.
  • Explore opportunities to apply predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to generate deeper insights and enhance decision‑making.
  • Contribute to improving data quality, consistency and governance across reporting outputs.
  • Support ad‑hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience with a business intelligence tool such as Qlik or Power BI.
  • Experience extracting, transforming and modelling data for reporting and analytics.
  • Foundational SQL skills and the ability to work with structured datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and insights clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in data and a willingness to learn.
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Experience writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Experience designing dashboards and visualisations that support self‑service reporting and stakeholder decision‑making.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, forecasting, data science or machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with AI for agentic use cases or conversational analytics.
  • Familiarity with languages such as Python or other.
  • Experience working with financial, commercial or product usage data.
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
  • Financial services or business information industry experience would be a plus.
