Data Architect (Contract) – Databricks Implementation
We are urgently seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead and support the implementation of Databricks and related data solutions in line with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions, with a strong focus on Databricks.
- Define and oversee data platform, integration, and governance strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide architectural guidance across data engineering and analytics initiatives.
- Support the adoption of additional technologies and solutions as directed by the client.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks and modern cloud‑based data platforms.
- Experience designing data lakes, data warehouses, and end‑to‑end data architectures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Location: London or Swindon (2–3 days per week onsite)
- Start: Immediate / Urgent requirement
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a high‑profile data transformation programme, driving the implementation of Databricks and other strategic data solutions.
