Job Description The VP Technology Solutions, Europe brings together full technology capability and dependencies of our business via a matrixed delivery model and drive a level a regional ownership of all technologies impacting the Region as well as have full accountability for overseeing Technology Services deliverables at Regional ELT.Will be the primary liaison and interface between the regional executive leadership team, including ELT members, all I&T Programme and Change teams and I&T Service Delivery.
Proactively contributes to the development of the business by focusing on continuous improvement opportunities, whether through delivery and use of I&T enabled capabilities or the secure use of our systems and data.
Building an intimate understanding of the Regions’ geographically dispersed businesses, driving global standardization in solutions at an organizational level wherever possible to provide maximum return on investment aligned to the overarching I&T strategy. Where there is an agreed divergence from the global standard ensure full transparency, security, performance, support, and business continuity for regionalised technology choice.
Acts as an advocate for the regional customer in development of, and approval for, the prioritised portfolio of I&T needs. At the same time, promotes understanding and alignment to I&T goals and objectives at a global level. The true value comes in being able to influence at the appropriate leadership levels on both sides, bringing together a strong partnership between the Business and I&T.
Focused on meeting the current, future, expressed and unexpressed demands of the function they support and the business, while maximising returns on I&T investment. Represent the Region CEO at the I&T Executive Steering.
Major/Key Accountabilities Lead and evolve the technology services agenda with a strong digital lens, ensuring today’s core Technology Services responsibilities are delivered while progressively shaping a more digitally‑biased, data‑ and AI‑enabled portfolio that supports digital initiatives and broader platform strategy.
Enable business value through scalable, secure and future‑ready platforms, partnering closely with digital and product leaders to ensure the right infrastructure, capabilities and adoption foundations are in place
Own and drive the regional I&T strategy agenda, considering the overall I&T standards, vision, and corporate goals.
Identify and prioritize I&T initiatives that will have the greatest impact on the regional business units by taking responsibility for forming the regional input to the Technology Services Portfolio prioritisation process. Working closely with the Regional Transformation Office, Digital, CX and Supply Chain Portfolio teams ensure the I&T & Portfolio priorities are aligned to Business I&T Product requirements.
Work together with the Brambles Office of the CIO (OCIO) to represent the Region in the Technology Services Portfolio prioritisation process. Adjust the Regional portfolio based on outcomes and ensure Region compliance to the Global outcomes.
