About the RoleMy client is building a new Digital Transformation team and they are seeking an experienced Technology Transformation leader to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary technology engagements across sectors and geographies. This role combines programme leadership, consulting and advisory expertise, and commercial involvement in sales and bids.
Main responsibilities for the Digital Transformation Senior Project / Programme Manager:- Lead complex digital transformation programmes
- Manage large-scale, multi-workstream technology engagements
- Work across a wide range of areas including strategy, architecture, data, cloud, cyber, and transformation
- Act as a key interface between business and technology stakeholders
- Present to stakeholders including board-level
- Support pre-sales, bids, and proposal development
- Build and lead high-performing teams
- Strategic planning and business case development
- Technology strategy / operating model design
- Separations / integrations with data migrations
- Data architecture and analytics (AI focus would be useful)
- Infrastructure (on prem/ hybrid / private & public cloud)
- Data, cyber security and operational resilience
- Technology policies and controls
- RFP definition and management
- Technology procurement and vendor management
- Acting as key interface between technology and business stakeholders
- Acting as a translator of technology topics into language business people can understand and make informed decisions
- Must be collaborative with delivery teams (client, internal teams, 3rd party suppliers)
- Able to run a Steer Committee / present to a Board
- Analytical capability. Able to delve into detail to identify root causes / key themes as well as understand detail and provide higher level analysis with recommendations
- Able to build teams
- Experience in Digital Technology transformation programmes
- Project and programme management leadership
- Broad understanding of technology across sectors
- Proven delivery capability in complex environments
- Consulting/advisory experience
- Experience in sales, pre-sales or bid work
- Stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Work on high-impact transformation programmes
