Rate: £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - London (3 days per week onsite)
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required (NPPV3 desirable)
We are seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to provide senior delivery leadership for a high-profile, business-critical technology programme entering a significant phase of delivery from July 2026. Operating within a complex and high-risk environment, this role requires a strong delivery professional capable of maintaining momentum, managing risk, and ensuring successful outcomes through effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and supplier management.
As a Lead Outcome Technology Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for delivering strategic technology outcomes across multiple teams, products, and services. You will establish the conditions for successful delivery, drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, and ensure decisions are made through robust governance processes. This role is pivotal in enabling programme success while supporting the continued development and operationalisation of AI-enabled delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Programme Delivery Leadership- Own and drive delivery against the agreed programme roadmap, ensuring outcomes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, quality, and timescales.
- Maintain clear oversight of delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and assurance activities.
- Provide strong delivery leadership to ensure predictable, controlled, and confident programme execution.
- Establish and maintain effective governance frameworks that enable timely decision-making and accountability.
- Ensure governance forums are well-managed, appropriately structured, and support successful programme outcomes.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and consistent reporting to senior stakeholders, providing confidence in delivery progress and performance.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage complex interdependencies across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to minimise delivery disruption.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive effective resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies tailored to diverse audiences.
- Communicate programme progress, risks, and decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead the management of third-party suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual commitments and agreed outcomes.
- Resolve supplier-related issues proactively and ensure external contributions are fully integrated into programme delivery plans.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing delivery environment across cross-functional teams.
- Remove barriers to delivery and promote effective team dynamics and shared accountability.
- Support the embedding and scaling of AI delivery capabilities into business-as-usual operations, ensuring sustainable and measurable outcomes.
- Proven experience leading complex technology programmes, products, or portfolios involving multiple teams, delivery methodologies, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering outcomes within challenging, fast-paced, and high-risk environments.
- Strong capability in identifying, managing, and mitigating delivery risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ability to maintain delivery momentum through effective prioritisation, planning, and intervention.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with experience engaging senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to build consensus, manage expectations, and drive decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience creating and sustaining effective cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams and organisational boundaries.
- Skilled at resolving blockers, facilitating alignment, and driving collective ownership of outcomes.
- Strong understanding of programme governance, assurance, and reporting practices.
- Experience implementing governance structures that support effective decision-making and delivery control.
- Relevant delivery qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile Scrum, SAFe, MSP, or equivalent
