Data & AI Governance Manager

We are seeking a strategic leader to shape and ope rationalise our global Data & AI Governance framework. This is a high‑impact role ensuring that data and AI are trusted, compliant, and leveraged responsibly across underwriting, claims, finance, and beyond‑unlocking innovation while maintaining rigorous control.

• Design and lead the enterprise Data Governance operating model
• Chair Data & AI Governance Committees and influence senior stakeholders
• Establish policies across data classification, quality, retention, and access
• Build and implement AI governance aligned to EU AI Act, GDPR, and global regulations
• Oversee model risk management, AI lifecycle governance, and third‑party AI usage
• Drive data quality, metadata management, and lineage transparency
• Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams to embed governance‑by‑design
• Enable self‑service data and AI across domains

• 10+ years in data governance, risk, or data leadership roles
• Strong experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, AI governance, and model risk frameworks
• Experience with governance tooling (e.g., Collibra, Purview, Erwin)
• Strong understanding of AWS‑based data ecosystems
• Proven ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders
