Strong Net App administration and support experience
Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) / Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) experience

Group Policy (GPO) management experience
PKI and Single Sign-On technologies experience
Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, or 2022 experience
VMware virtualised environments experience
DNS, Domain Controllers, and Active Directory migrations experience
Infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support experience
Experience working in secure or highly regulated environments is highly desirable
Enterprise Vault experience is highly desirable
Trend IMSVA or equivalent mail security platform experience is highly desirable
Technical certifications such as MCSE or equivalent are highly desirable
Experience leading small technical teams is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise IAM and infrastructure services
Manage complex Active Directory environments, including multi-forest estates
Support and optimise Microsoft Exchange platforms and messaging services
Administer and enhance Net App storage environments
Work with MIM/FIM, PKI, and Single Sign-On technologies
Automate administration, reporting, and operational processes using Power Shell
Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technical transformation initiatives
Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and mentoring support

We are seeking a Senior IAM Infrastructure Engineer with Net App expertise to join a major secure technology programme in Newport, working in a hybrid arrangement with three days per week on site. This is a six-month contract with scope for extension, offered inside IR35 at £550 per day. You will join a highly regulated enterprise environment where identity, messaging, and storage services are critical to business operations, and you will help us maintain, enhance, and modernise key infrastructure platforms.
