ICT Systems Administrator

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

• We need support for cloud platforms, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• We want you to lead backup, disaster recovery, and system resilience improvements.
• We need support for migrating legacy systems and applications.
• We want you to enhance security, patching, and system compliance.
• We need accurate and structured technical documentation to be maintained.
• We want you to work with virtualisation platforms, including Hyper‑V.
• We need contribution to infrastructure upgrade programmes and automation initiatives.

We are a well-established public sector organisation with a developing ICT function, currently investing in infrastructure, resilience, and cloud transformation. This is a hands‑on Systems Administrator contract role based on‑site in Carmarthen for 3 months, offered on a competitive day rate inside IR35. You will join a team focused on improving core infrastructure and delivering key technology change, with immediate start available and potential for contract extension or a longer‑term opportunity.
