PA Consulting is seeking an exceptional Operational Resilience consultant to join our Digital Trust and Cyber Security Team. The role focuses on analysing end‑to‑end operations for business resilience, assessing risk across people, technology, third parties, and core business functions, and shaping the team’s approach beyond traditional business continuity.
Responsibilities- Analyse end‑to‑end operations to identify resilience gaps.
- Develop and implement resilience strategies that span people, processes, technology, and third‑party relationships.
- Perform critical assessment of the organization’s vulnerable areas, including security, IT continuity, and supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to embed resilience into everyday operations.
- Contribute to the growth and thought leadership of PA’s Operational Resilience team through developing written assets and sharing best practices.
- Participate in a hybrid working model – with a minimum of two days per week in the office or on client sites.
- Three or more years of experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Third‑Party Risk Management, OCIR, Crisis Management, IT Service Management, IT Continuity, Security, Risk Management, Supply Chain Resilience, or Disaster Recovery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT service models such as COBIT or ITIL and applicable international standards for resilience and risk management.
- Certifications such as BCI, DRI, CISSP, or IRM are desirable.
- Experience in a financial services environment is an advantage, though principles apply across sectors.
- Capability to own projects end‑to‑end and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
- UK security clearance is required for this role; applicants must meet residency requirements (British citizen or at least five years of continuous residence in the UK).
