Role Overview

As a Pre‑Sales Consultant, you will partner with Sales and our customers to shape opportunities from early discovery through to proposal, ensuring each engagement is clearly scoped, deliverable, and outcome‑led.

You will act as a subject matter expert across Software One’s IT Asset Management (ITAM), Fin Ops, and Software Sourcing services – positioning our services to help customers optimise their software and cloud spend by improving visibility, rightsizing consumption, and ensuring procurement decisions are commercially and operationally effective.

Day‑to‑day, the role centres on translating customer goals into a clear approach and deliverables: running discovery and shaping workshops, defining assumptions and dependencies, producing estimates and delivery approaches with the delivery team, and creating customer‑ready proposals, value cases, and statements of work (SOWs) that support informed decision‑making.
