The impact you will have
Elliptic has just closed its largest funding round, operates in a market that is moving into mainstream, and has executives with genuine vision and contributions to make to the on‑chain finance agenda. The person in this role will help define how the world sees Elliptic, building the right earned media program, the right analyst relationships, and the right executive voices, and will have a direct bearing on how we are perceived by the customers, regulators, and partners that matter most.
PRprogram
- Day‑to‑day management of the PR agency: briefing, prioritization, performance, and keeping delivery on strategy
- Working with the agency, build and maintain relationships with tier‑one journalists across business, crypto, fintech, and payments beats globally
- Lead earned media activity for major announcements including funding rounds, product launches, research reports, and regulatory developments
- Monitor competitive PR activity across TRM Labs and Chainalysis and flag implications to the Director of Communications
- Own PR reporting: coverage quality, share of voice, and digital PR metrics including backlink quality and LLM visibility
- Incorporate a digital PR strategy designed to improve Elliptic’s visibility in AI‑generated answers, LLM‑cited sources, and AI Overviews, not just traditional search
- Partner with content and SEO to produce stat‑rich, citable assets (research, data studies, reports) that earn organic links and AI citations from authoritative publications
- Partner with content and growth teams who track Elliptic’s presence across LLM platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini) and feed insights back into the PR program where relevant.
- Working with the Director of Communications and PR Agency, create and manage Linked In content programs for key executives (CEO, CSO), including editorial strategy, ghostwriting, cadence management, and engagement monitoring, producing content that sounds authentically like each individual, not like a corporate feed
- Working with the agency, write and place executive bylines, op‑eds, and long‑form thought leadership articles in target publications
- Maintain the executive message house for each priority spokesperson, ensuring consistent narrative across Linked In, speaking slots, media interviews, and analyst briefings
- Identify and manage a pipeline of speaking, podcast, and roundtable opportunities
- Track and report on executive share of voice, Linked In audience growth, engagement quality, and speaking performance; use data to continuously improve the program
- Identify opportunities for executives to participate in awards programs, advisory boards, and external recognition schemes that build individual and brand credibility
The Director of Communications will set the approach; you will run the programme day to day.
- Manage ongoing relationships with priority analysts and industry influencers: briefings, inquiry responses, and regular contact
- Coordinate analyst briefing schedules and ensure the right people from product, commercial, and communications are prepared and aligned
- Track coverage and citations across analyst outputs; report on how Elliptic is described relative to competitors and feed intelligence back to the business
- Day‑to‑day coordination with external lobbying and government affairs agency: briefings, scheduling, and keeping work streams on track
- Support the drafting of materials in support of government affairs activity including submissions, briefing notes, position papers, and correspondence
- Monitor relevant regulatory and policy developments (MiCA, FIT
21, FATF guidance, and others) with the Government, Policy and Regulations team (GPRG) - Support preparation for regulatory consultations, parliamentary or congressional engagements, and policy events as required
- Support the Director of Communications on ad hoc projects including crisis communications, executive media preparation, and major announcements
