Platform Engineer​/Frequency Trading

I’m working with a fast-growing technology-driven trading firm looking to hire a Junior Platform Engineer to support a globally distributed, high-performance infrastructure environment powering real-time data and trading operations.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical team working across multi-cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, networking, automation, and platform reliability within a fast-paced environment.

• Support a 24x7 global infrastructure environment across cloud and on-prem systems
• Improve platform performance, automation, and operational processes
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams on architecture and scalability
• Manage infrastructure across multi-region/multi-cloud environments
• Optimise Linux and network stack, tuning and production support
• Contribute to automation and reducing manual operational overhead

• 2+ years in Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong AWS and networking experience in production environments
• Linux systems administration and troubleshooting expertise
• Scripting or coding experience with Bash, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or VBA
• Understanding of infrastructure performance tuning and reliability engineering
• Nice to have:
  Monitoring & observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
