Business Analyst – Retail & E-commerce Transformation
Location: London, UK (Onsite/Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading Retail & E-commerce transformation programme. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Retail business processes, Shopify Plus integrations, and enterprise system implementations, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead requirements gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and process maps.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support business process redesign and digital transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and solution walkthroughs.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and production go-live activities.
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Shopify Plus (Shopify+) backend integrations.
- Experience integrating Shopify with ERP, PIM, OMS, pricing systems, and tax engines.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and end-to-end e-commerce workflows.
- Experience working with Finance, Customer Service, Warehouse, Merchandising, and Loyalty teams.
- Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), fulfilment, inventory management, pricing, promotions, returns, and customer lifecycle processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in global Retail transformation programmes.
- Exposure to ERP, OMS, CRM, and Supply Chain systems.
- Experience supporting EU legal entity setup and related business process changes.
- UK Citizens or candidates holding UK Permanent Residency (ILR).
