EY Assurance services — comprising Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), Forensic & Integrity Services (Forensics) and Climate / Sustainability Services — address risk and complexity while identifying opportunities to enhance trust and confidence in business and the capital markets. EY Assurance is growing its team of Business Product Managers and Business Product Owners, who will support the ongoing digital transformation of EY’s Assurance services through the development of new innovative technology. This exciting program impacts all aspects of EY’s Assurance technology portfolio, driving on EY’s commitment to high quality audits, whilst transforming the user and client experience. To accomplish this, EY Assurance is investing in data analytics;

intelligent automation; artificial intelligence; data and systems architecture.

Successful candidates will collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to define technology requirements; design technology products and capabilities; and manage the successful delivery and deployment of new releases to EY’s Assurance practice, incl. 100,000+ EY users and 350,000+ client users.

This role represents EY’s global organization, working collectively across a wide range of stakeholders within an international setting.

• Work with teams across the globe to set the vision and determine detailed requirements.
• Interact with internal and external designers to create a compelling and exciting user experience.
• Partner with our internal methodology and certification teams to understand how your product(s) can smartly fit within EY Audit and Assurance methodologies and standards.
• Build a relationship with your 2‑in‑a‑box technology counterpart, to ensure the solutions envisaged are built in a robust and scalable way.
• Spend time with pilot teams to understand their journey through the product and the benefits they’ve observed on their engagements.
• Manage successful deployment and activation – as well as monitoring and measurement of product releases and gathering of user and client feedback.
• Drive ongoing iteration of future product upgrades and releases.
• Share best practices with other product owners and work streams.

• Overall, candidates will have significant audit / accounting related business experience (e.g. graduate degree in accounting and relevant local accounting designation – e.g. CPA). Candidates will also have a background or strong interest in technology, innovation or product development. Specific finance system knowledge, programming experience is not required, but is desirable.
• You have prior experience of working in an Assurance / Audit role or alongside accountants / auditors – enabling you with an understanding of accounting processes, activities, risks and data.
