Job DescriptionA seasoned SAP Consultant with rich experience in transformation programs and global deployments is required to serve as Solution Architect for Supply Chain, participating in an end‑to‑end journey that includes generating leads, co‑creating business models, synthesizing processes, building solution roadmaps, identifying digitalisation opportunities, conducting assessments, building business cases, driving engagement, producing blueprints, proofs of concept, change impact, learning content, moderating workshops, delivering MVPs and pilots, obtaining buy‑ins, and collaborating with partners such as SAP and Microsoft.
- generating leads from key clients based on consulting‑based ideas
- co‑creating next‑generation business models and processes that give clients a competitive edge or cost leadership
- synthesising end‑to‑end processes across planning, sales, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, plant maintenance, and customer service
- building solution roadmaps for the customer transformation journey leveraging SAP S/4
HANA, SaaS lines‑of‑business solutions, and other products such as SFDC - identifying opportunities for digitisation and automation using AI, Blockchain, IoT, RPA and other levers
- participating in assessments, due diligences, transformation workshops
- guiding customers to build a business case for transformation initiatives
- driving engagement directly with the business on the customer side and speaking their language
- realising business blueprints, proofs of concept, transformation plans, change impacts, and learning content
- moderating large workshops across business domains such as procurement, manufacturing, finance, etc., and guiding clients to build a solution vision and identify requirements, gaps, and roadblocks
- delivering S/4
HANA minimum viable products, templates, complete products, and pilots in your area - obtaining buy‑ins and acceptance from the business for delivered products
- participating in product roadmap discussions with partners such as SAP and Microsoft to deliver joint synergy and value to customers
- providing an independent point of view to the customer based on experience and product roadmaps from SAP and other vendors
As a leader and senior of the team, you will mentor team members, oversee deliverable planning and estimation, provide solution reviews, and give transparent feedback to improve performance.
Knowledge / Skills Required- Experience across the entire SAP product portfolio and SAP consulting
- Deep functional (Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales) or technical (ABAP, UI5, Integration, Security, Basis) skills in one or two SAP ERP domains
- Knowledge of IT architecture including SAP architecture
- Business acumen, industry nuance, value‑chain awareness, and trend appreciation
- Experience interacting with C‑level and middle‑management stakeholders and managing expectations
- IT‑enabled transformation and operations experience
- 14+ years of hands‑on SAP consulting in an industry segment or skillset focus
- 5+ end‑to‑end projects in the new SAP offering
- Project architect or lead experience
- Experience in at least two types of projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or hybrid)
- Transformation preparation / Phase 0 experience
- SAP toolchain user or administrator experience
- Valid SAP certifications in relevant skills
- Client presentability and excellent interpersonal skills across C‑level to super users
- Solution proposal building and effort estimation skills
- Multi‑tasking flexibility, team spirit, and winning attitude
- Exposure to multiple modules and skill areas within the SAP portfolio
- Experience in SAP Sales and hands‑on service delivery responsibilities
- Prior business domain experience before the IT experience
- External publications in the public domain on respective industry or skill area
- Additional exposure to other tech stacks such as SFDC or Microsoft
- Analytical and lateral thinking capabilities
