Unified Communications Consultant

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Must be eligible for SC (Security Check) clearance.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Unified Communications (Teams, Skype for Business, Exchange Online).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and related services.
• Expertise in voice integration, SBCs, and telephony migration.
• Familiarity with Power Shell scripting for automation and configuration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel regularly to client sites.
• Experience with Direct Routing, Contact Centre integrations, and third‑party UC solutions.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (QoS, SIP, DNS).
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-720, or equivalent).
• Design and deploy Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and related UC solutions.
• Integrate UC platforms with telephony systems, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
• Provide technical leadership during project delivery, including architecture design, migration planning, and implementation.
• Conduct client workshops, assessments, and training sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex UC issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
• Maintain documentation and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.
