You'll take ownership of a business-critical Snowflake platform (Cortex), ensuring it remains secure, scalable, high-performing, and well-governed across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Own Snowflake platform administration, performance, and cost optimisation. Manage RBAC, access controls, SSO integrations, and security policies. Implement data masking, row-level security, audit logging, and network controls. Deliver platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and Terraform-based deployments. Partner with Data Engineering, Security, and Cloud teams to drive best practices and continuous improvement. Act as the Snowflake SME for platform operations, governance, and architecture.

Essential Skills Strong enterprise Snowflake administration experience. Cortex AI Expertise in Snowflake security, RBAC, governance, and access management.

Experience with warehouse management, performance tuning, and cost optimisation. Strong SQL skills and knowledge of Account Usage and Information Schema. Terraform (or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling). Cloud platform, networking, and identity management experience (e.g. Okta, Azure AD). Available to start within 1 month (maximum notice period). Highly Desirable Snow Pro certification. Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Data Sharing, or Clean Rooms. Python automation. dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Alation, or Collibra.
