Job Description

We are hiring a Business Director to lead our Digital Shelf offering within Publicis Commerce, shaping how brands show up, grow and compete across today’s evolving commerce landscape. This is a high-impact leadership role where strategy meets execution—bringing together content, data and innovation to unlock measurable growth. You’ll partner with senior clients and cross-functional teams to influence outcomes  you’re excited by the future of commerce and want to help define what comes next, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing :
  • Set the strategic direction for connected commerce and digital shelf programmes across multiple markets, driving measurable growth
  • Build strong senior client partnerships, translating insight into actionable recommendations that create real impact
  • Lead product content and e-merchandising strategies to improve visibility, availability and conversion across platforms
  • Champion innovation across emerging areas such as social commerce and the agentic shelf, helping clients stay ahead
  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities, contributing to new business and expanding existing client relationships
  • Own commercial performance across accounts, including budgeting, forecasting and resource planning
  • Foster collaboration across strategy, analytics, media, creative and technology teams while supporting and developing talent
Qualifications Skills we’re looking for:
  • Experience in digital commerce, e-commerce strategy or digital shelf environments across complex client landscapes
  • Strong understanding of product content, e-merchandising and online retail across different commercial models
  • Familiarity with digital shelf and commerce tools (e.g. Profitero, Brandbank or similar platforms)
  • Ability to shape long-term strategies that deliver sustainable client growth
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, with clear and engaging communication skills
  • Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, forecasting and performance outcomes
  • Collaborative and curious mindset, with a passion for learning and developing others
