Team Manager, Professional Services About the Role

We are looking for a Team Manager, Professional Services to join our Delivery organisation. The role is a critical leadership position responsible for leading a high‑performing team delivering implementation, consulting, and customer‑facing solutions.

You will play a key role in ensuring customers successfully adopt and realise value from our products through high‑quality project delivery and strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware delivery leader with strong consulting capability and a passion for driving customer outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Professional Services consultants, project managers, and delivery specialists
  • Oversee the successful delivery of customer projects, including technical implementations, customisation, and consulting engagements
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, including C‑suite customer leaders, to understand business goals and define success outcomes
  • Manage complex and time‑sensitive programmes, ensuring risks, timelines, and dependencies are effectively controlled
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, frameworks, and operational standards
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering and Support teams to support adoption and long‑term customer value
  • Contribute to scoping, proposals, statements of work and delivery estimates with strong commercial awareness
  • Monitor delivery performance, team utilisation, and customer satisfaction, using data to drive decisions
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues, resolving challenges with professionalism and urgency
  • Support team development through performance management, coaching, and career growth
What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience leading or mentoring customer‑facing delivery or Professional Services teams
  • Strong background in project delivery, implementation, or consulting environments
  • Ability to manage complex projects with clear governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working with senior executive level stakeholders at enterprise customers
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions
  • Commercial awareness, including exposure to scoping, proposals, resourcing or statements of work
  • Experience using data and insights to monitor performance and drive improvements
  • Strong digital literacy, including understanding of technical architecture, data schemas at APIs
Desirable
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, digital, or education environments
  • Exposure to consulting methodologies or structured problem‑solving approaches
  • Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Location & Work Setup

This is a full‑time role operating on a hybrid working model (< 25% travel to London office or client site when required).
