EP - Application Developer

Salary

£60,000 - £90,000 per year.

• 5 years UK residency is required, and work must be completed within the UK
• We require active SC Clearance or eligibility to undergo SC Clearance

• Desirable: experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, or Spec Flow

• Analyse business and technical requirements
• Design and execute test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
• Work with a bespoke BDD automation framework
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and wider delivery teams
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
• Support delivery within a service‑driven, client‑focused environment

This is a 12-month hybrid role based in London, Leicester, or Manchester, where you will join HMRC’s flagship Customs Transformation Programme supporting the UK central customs platform within a high‑performing IBM delivery team.
