EUC Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot deployment in an enterprise environment.
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end device provisioning pipelines and hardware life cycles.
• Strong experience managing Joiners, Movers, and Leavers workflows within an operational IT team.
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 operating systems, including registry tweaks, hardware troubleshooting, and driver management.
• Experience with Power Shell to automate deployment tasks and Intune configurations.
• Solid understanding of identity services, including Microsoft Entra , Conditional Access policies, and group management.
• Strong organizational and logistical skills to handle concurrent hardware shipments and inventory tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex deployment failures under tight deadlines.
• Self‑motivated and able to drive technical tasks independently without day‑to‑day supervision.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across IT and the wider business.

• Own our End User Computing ecosystem and drive the automation, scaling, and execution of our device provisioning pipelines.
• Contribute to the technical orchestration of our Joiners, Movers, and Leavers workflows so every colleague receives a configured device on day one.
• Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune profiles, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Windows Autopilot deployment profiles.
• Package, test, and deploy software applications and updates via Intune.
• Maintain and optimize modern zero‑touch provisioning builds to minimize manual intervention during hardware setup.
• Oversee the technical execution of the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers lifecycle, including hardware preparation, data wiping, and secure asset reclamation.
• Manage the operational workflow for physical laptop deployment, including inventory tracking, hardware life cycles, and shipment coordination.
• Ensure a steady pipeline of provisioned hardware is available and that the asset management database remains accurate.
• Act as the final point of escalation for complex EUC, operating system, hardware deployment, and Intune configuration issues.
• Audit deployment workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, introduce automation, and improve the digital onboarding experience.
• Create and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and build guidelines for the wider IT operations team.
