IT Support Technician

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

• Experience providing 1st and 2nd line support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and user/device administration.
• Exposure to server administration, backups, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to monitor systems and maintain technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Availability to participate in an out-of-hours on‑call rota.
• A hands‑on approach, willingness to get involved in projects and continuous improvement, and the ability to learn quickly.
• A team‑player attitude and a passion for helping others.

• Provide first‑line IT support.
• Log, investigate, and resolve user incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, escalating to higher support levels when needed.
• Troubleshoot common software, hardware, and network issues faced by users, providing clear guidance and resolutions.
• Monitor systems and maintain technical documentation.
• Get involved in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
